An initiative of the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice to sustain our shared mission, preserve our National Historical Landmark chapel designed by Leandro Locsin, and serve our communities.

Why "Saving Sacrifice"?

The name Saving Sacrifice carries a profound dual meaning that connects our liturgical liturgy with our daily lives as stewards of the Church:

1. Ang Banal na Misa

Christ’s saving act in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the focal point of our faith and parish identity. It is celebrated at our circular marble altar beneath Leandro Locsin’s dome, uniting us as one body.

2. Ang Ating Pag-aalay

Our own sacrificial giving saves and sustains parish life. Every contribution of time, talent, and treasure ensures that our historical parish can carry out its ministries and aid those in need.

The Saving Sacrifice Campaign is a movement of the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice to continuously fulfill our three-fold mission: to proclaim the Word of God, to celebrate the Sacraments, and to serve through active charity.

Apostolic Inspiration

Deus Caritas Est (God is Love)

Our campaign is rooted in the timeless teachings of Pope Benedict XVI on the intrinsic structure and core duties of the Catholic community:

“Ang Simbahan ay may tatlong tungkulin na hindi mapaghihiwalay — magpahayag ng Salita ng Diyos, magdiwang ng mga Sakramento, at maglingkod nang may pagmamahal.”

— Papa Benedicto XVI, Deus Caritas Est (blg. 20)

Hindi magagampanan ang misyong ito ng mga pari lamang. It is a shared covenant entrusted to the entire People of God — lay faithful, religious, clergy, and bishops working together in love.

“Ang pag-ibig sa kapwa ay pananagutan ng bawat isa at ng buong Simbahan.”

— Papa Benedicto XVI, Deus Caritas Est (blg. 25a)

How Can You Be a Mission Partner?

Stewardship is expressed in three distinct, equally valuable ways. Every parishioner is encouraged to choose their pathway of sacrifice:

1
Pinansyal na Suporta (Balik-Biyaya Pledge)

Commit to a regular voluntary contribution according to your capacity—whether monthly, quarterly, yearly, or as a single one-time love offering. You can specify which pastoral pillar you wish to fund.

2
Magboluntaryo (Volunteer Service)

Offer your specialized skills, time, and professional talents. Join parish organizations, assist in medical/relief drives, or serve as a lay minister, media coordinator, or catechist.

3
Manalangin (Prayer Support)

Intercede daily for the spiritual growth of our parish, our clergy, our beneficiaries, and our fellow Mission Partners. We offer the official stewardship prayer in unison as one community.

Where to Give Your Donations:

  • Parish Office: Directly turn in your envelope or pledge from Tuesday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Saving Sacrifice Prayer

We invite all families and mission partners to pray this official campaign prayer in unison during our liturgies and home devotionals:

Saving Sacrifice Prayer

Loving Father,
You gave us Your Son, Jesus Christ, who offered Himself on the Cross — the Saving Sacrifice for the life of the world. Gathered around this altar, we witness His self-giving love made present for us.

Lord, teach us to respond with grateful hearts. Make us true mission partners of Christ, ready to offer our time, talents, and resources for the life and mission of our parish community.

May our own saving sacrifices bring hope to the poor, nourishment to the young, formation to families, and strength to Your Church.

Holy Spirit, inspire us to give not from what is left over, but from what is right and just before You — with joy, with generosity, and with faith.

Through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may we learn to say, "Yes, Lord, I love You," in every act of service and every gift we share. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
